Welcome to Gima Caffè - Where Every Sip Brings Joy!

Nestled in the picturesque Piazza di S Maria Liberatrice in Rome, Gima Caffè is a charming café that transforms your coffee break into a delightful experience. Here, the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect oasis for both locals and travelers seeking refuge from the bustling streets of the Eternal City.

Despite its modest size, Gima Caffè boasts an inviting ambiance that draws you in with sweet aromas of freshly brewed coffee. Customers rave about the exquisite espresso and Americano offerings—exceptionally rich and deeply roasted, these beverages will awaken your senses and provide the perfect energy boost as you explore Rome. The barista is accommodating and ready to craft your preferred drink, even if it’s not prominently featured on the menu!

But it doesn’t stop at coffee. You can indulge in their delectable cornetti, which one reviewer claims are the best she enjoyed during her time in Rome and Florence. Every bite is a warm embrace, filled with buttery goodness that is simply irresistible. Pair that with a refreshing Aperol Spritz or a chilled beer, and you're set for a delightful pause in your day, whether you're taking a break from sightseeing or passing time while your laundry finishes.

Tanya McKay describes it perfectly, highlighting how a simple drink or an ice cream can lead to a moment of tranquil relaxation amidst the hustle of travel.

Plus, it’s a fantastic spot for families! Stacie Montella noted the couple running the café as patient and joyful hosts, making their lively morning visits a highlight of their day. With ample free snacks like olives, chips, and nuts provided alongside your drinks, any visit turns into a shared experience filled with laughter and enjoyment.

When in the vicinity of Santa Maria Maggiore, don’t miss the opportunity to step into Gima Caffè—where great taste meets heartwarming service in a cozy setting. Come for the coffee, stay for the warm atmosphere, and leave with delightful memories (and maybe a few cornetti!).

Expected nothing but some refreshments, being so hot outside. Received smiles, really good aperol and espresso and free treats: very good olives, chips and nuts! Good price too! Stop here for a good treat.

Lovely small cafe with internet access if you asked the proprietors. Enjoyed a beer here while waiting for my laundry to be finished. Lovely little place.

What a lovely find right next to Santa Maria Maggiore. We needed to eat something, have a drink, feel refreshed and relax for a time. This was the prlerfect spot for all 4. The lady behind the counter could not be more helpful and pleasant. We only had drinks and ice cream but the chill atmosphere and the service meant we were relaxed and ready for the next part of our sightseeing. Very reasonable prices. Thank you.

The barrista offered espresso or americano coffees to us despite not listing americano on their board. This was great because we were particularly in the mood for an americano. It was classic Italian coffee - bitter, heavily-roasted, deep, and rich. This is a lovely little spot for both locals and travellers at a low price.

Small, quaint, unassuming. But these were easily the best cornetti we had during our weeks in Rome and Florence. The couple running the place was patient with our large family and rowdy kids, making the morning stop a nice way to start the day.
